In Northeast Florida, too many babies die from preventable causes and lack of health services. The Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition leads a cooperative community effort to reduce infant mortality and improve the health of children, childbearing women and their families in Northeast Florida.

The NEFHSC has several programs, including the state's new Father First, that empower fathers to embrace their unique role in their child(ren)'s lives.

Our new Doula Collective is growing. NEFHS now offers doula training and is working to expand our network of trained professionals.
