Azalea Project participants enjoyed a day of pampering with fitness and nutrition awareness from 11am – 5pm and free manicure, make up and healthy hair education from 2 pm – 5pm on Wednesday, May 15 as part of Healthy Start’s weeklong National Women’s Health Week activities.

Viewers who tuned in to WJXT TV 4 News were treated to a phone bank featuring area doctors and medical professionals. Women were invited to call in with questions they are too embarrased or afraid to ask their doctors. The phones were ringing off the hook all night long! Thanks WJXT TV4 and to our docs who helped make the phone bank a success!



National Women’s Health Week is dedicated to empowering women to make their health a top priority. Women are encouraged to visit their doctor, eat healthy and exercise, take care of their mental health and stay away from unhealthy behaviors.
