Congratulations to the Azalea Project for winning an award from the Northeast Florida Area Health Education Center.

The project was presented with the award for referring 50 women to smoking cessation classes. AHEC administers the Quit Smoking Now program, which provides participants with the support, guidance and resources they need to help quit.

The Azalea Project is a special initiative of the Healthy Start Coalition that assists at-risk, substance-abusing women to ensure they have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.
