January 8, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Valerie Eldridge-Bratsch, the program manager of FDOH Nassau’s Healthy Start, hosts a monthly Infant Mortality Task Force for the Nassau community to discuss what can be done to get more babies to their first birthday and action steps that can be taken to defeat infant mortality. In this meeting, members will also discuss the prevention of substance-exposed newborns suffering from opioid withdrawal as that has an impact on infant mortality rates across the nation.
