Space is limited. Register here.

This two-hour training workshop is for supervisors, managers and directors in youth development programs. The workshop will increase awareness and understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and their health risks, and promote safe space for LGBTQ youth. The training will help agencies create best practices and implement policies in environments that discourage bullying/rejection and promote acceptance of LGBTQ in youth development programs and other community settings.

This program is supported in part by the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition with funding from U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Administration for Children & Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau under the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) (Grant No. 90AK0011-02-00). The training will be conducted by JASMYN and the Children’s Commission, in conjunction with the Healthy Start Coalition.
