Latch On America: Milk for Thought taking action to empower breastfeeding moms

Milk for Thought will be traveling the country in a giant pink bus to promote breastfeeding and showcase what people are doing to support and empower breastfeeding moms.

The organization will be traveling with a three-person film crew and stop in 20 different cities and towns to bring together local support for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Milk for Thought will conduct interviews to learn about the local breastfeeding culture to allow to compare the acceptance of public breastfeeding, the standard of breastfeeding care in hospitals and how workplace practices differ from city to city. The film crew will also highlighting stories of breastfeeding moms and organizations that are taking action

The itinerary of cities and towns will be set on July 1. To vote for your city, RSVP on the Web site.
