Donating blood may be one of the most important things you can do. Many individuals depend on donations of blood throughout the year. These include trauma victims, surgery patients, individuals living with sickle cell, and some premature infants.

Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weigh over 110 pounds are eligible to give blood every 56 days. The Magnolia Project is hosting a blood drive in recognition of National Blood Donor Month, Friday, January 13, 2012, 5300 North Pearl Street (Pearl Plaza), 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

To donate blood or more information contact Rhonda Johnson, 353-2130, ext. 12.
