National Nurses Week: Beverly Smith, RN

In honor of National Nurses Week (May 6-12), join us in celebrating the many wonderful and invaluable nurses who work with and impact our programs!

Meet Beverly

Beverly has more than 10 years of experience as a Healthy Start nurse. Since 2001, she has provided care coordination and services to moms and babies through the UF Health Healthy Start program. Find out more about Beverly below.

Beverly Smith has been nurse for more than 35 years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida A&M University. Beverly started her nursing career at Methodist Hospital, then moved over to the later renamed Shands Jacksonville Medical Center. She is currently a Healthy Start Nurse Educator/Case Manager with UF Health and has been in this position since 2001. She is married, has two daughters and one grandchild. Beverly enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
