The Magnolia Project celebrated National Women’s Health Week this year with four days full of activities, culminating with an Open House and Proclamation from the Jacksonville Mayor’s Office on May 12th.
Several participants were on hand to share stories about their experiences at Magnolia — from learning to manage toxic stress to accessing long acting reversible contraception to the support they received in case management.
A representative from Mayor Lenny Curry’s office was also on hand to deliver a proclamation recognizing May 8th-14th as National Women’s Health week.
After the presentations, attendees took a tour of the Project, which provides services for women before, during and after pregnancy. Services include case management, clinical, health education classes and more.
