Ounce of Prevention “Sleep Right, Sleep Tight” campaign promotes safe sleep practices

Sleep-related deaths are one of the leading causes of post-neonatal (>28 days old) infant deaths in the state and nation, but they’re also largely preventable.  A new statewide campaign in Florida encourages parents to make sure their babies  “Sleep Right, Sleep Tight.”

The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida developed the materials with funding from the Department of Health.

The campaign includes television Public Service Announcements in both English and Spanish, an informational video on safe infant sleep and the following print materials available in both languages:

  • Safe Sleep for You & Your Baby Brochure
  • Better Sleep for You & Your Baby Tip Sheet
  • Sleeping Like a Baby Tip Sheet
  • Bonding With Your Baby
