A Note To Moms:

While fatherhood is forever, it occurs one day at a time, and some days will be better than others.

Dad’s relationship with the baby is important for healthy growth and development.

He’s going to make mistakes, and each new day presents an opportunity for him to take another shot.  It is a tough transition, and “you” must be patient with him.

There is no right or wrong way to be a dad.  Every baby, mom and dad is unique, and there are different approaches to each issue that will arise.

Keep in mind that ultimately, you and dad will decide what is best for your new family. Trust your instincts as a mom – but allow his to develop through the relationship he needs to build with his child.

Remember! – With your help and encouragement, he will be a great father; without it, he’s just another dad.
