Registration for The People’s Scientific Conference to Promote Health and Eliminate Health Disparities June 14-15 at the University of Florida in Gainesville closes June 10.

The conference, sponsored by the University of Florida Health Disparities Research and Intervention Program in partnership with the University of Florida Prostate Disease Center and the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) will bring together community members, health professionals and researchers to share information about chronic diseases and discuss ways to promote health.

Registration is mandatory. The conference is available via webcast at no cost and is free for community members and community health workers. There is a fee for professionals, researchers and medical students. Registration is available online or by phone (1-866-290-5770).
