The Indo-American Medical Association (IAMA) of Northeast Florida is holding their second annual health fair on May 5 at the Wyndham Downtown hotel.
Time: Saturday, May, 5, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Wyndham Downtown Jacksonville Hotel, 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville.
The fair will include free seminars on various medical topics and living a healthy lifestyle, information from area organizations and free screenings, including:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Prostate screening
- Cardiac evaluation (including echocardiogram and carotid doppler testing)
- Eye exams
- Dental screening
- Podiatry (foot) screening and education
- Nutrition counseling
- Women’s health screening
- Arthritis evaluation
The Indo-American Medical Association (IAMA) of Northeast Florida is the non-profit membership organization of the doctors of medicine and dentistry of East Indian origin/ancestry, which serves as a forum to facilitate and enable Indian American physicians to excel in patient care, teaching, research and help them to pursue their aspirations in professional and community affairs.
