Second annual Indo-American Health Fair on May 5

The Indo-American Medical Association (IAMA) of Northeast Florida is holding their second annual health fair on May 5 at the Wyndham Downtown hotel.

Time: Saturday, May, 5, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Location: Wyndham Downtown Jacksonville Hotel, 1515 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville.

The fair will include free seminars on various medical topics and living a healthy lifestyle, information from area organizations and free screenings, including:

  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • High cholesterol
  • Prostate screening
  • Cardiac evaluation (including echocardiogram and carotid doppler testing)
  • Eye exams
  • Dental screening
  • Podiatry (foot) screening and education
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Women’s health screening
  • Arthritis evaluation
