September 17-22 marks National Child Passenger Safety Week, which intends to bringe awareness on how to properly secure kids in car seats and seat belts. Currently, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death for young children.
September 22 is National Seat Check Saturday. Parents and caregivers in the region can make sure their car seat is installed correctly and learn more about when to move up to the next seat size on Saturday September 22 at George Moore Chevrolet, 10979 Atlantic Blvd, Jax. The even is hosted by Safe Kids Northeast Florida, led by The Players Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, and General Motors.
