Despite the cold weather, the Jacksonville Kids Coalition hosted an Advocacy Walk at the Jacksonville Landing and a press conference at City Hall on March 26 as part of Florida’s Children’s Week.

Former Jacksonville Jaguar safety Donovin Darius, children from the community and Jaxson De Ville led the Advocacy Walk. Following the walk, a ceremony and briefing on the status of children in Northeast Florida was held at City Hall. The event ended with story time and cupcakes.
