Registration for the “Infant Safe Sleep: Moving Data to Action” webinar July 31 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. is now available.
The webinar, presented by Project IMPACT and the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) in partnership with the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs(AMCHP) will feature speakers Lena Camperlengo, RN, MPH, DrPh, a health scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Reproductive Health and Stephanie Regenold, MD, MPH, the senior medical advisor to the Baltimore City Health Department’s Babies Born Healthy Initiative. The speakers will discuss current data on Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUIDs) and safe sleep efforts.
SUIDs and other sleep-related deaths are the main causes of post-neonatal mortality in Northeast Florida. To help reduce the number of sleep-related deaths in the area, the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition promotes safe sleep in its community education programs. Read more about safe sleep.
