The Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions, Inc. has released a competitive funding opportunity to establish new home visiting programs under the Florida Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Initiative.
The Association is seeking agencies that can implementing evidence-based home visiting models to serve families residing in identified high-need areas of Florida. These models are intended to be implemented at the community level as part of a coordinated, integrated system of early childhood services.
The goal of the Florida MIECHV initiative is to equip parents and other caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to assist their children in being healthy, safe, and ready to succeed in school.
Letters of intent are due July 20; Applications are due August 16.
