In honor of National Nurses Week (May 6-12), join us in celebrating the many wonderful and invaluable nurses who work with and impact our programs!
Meet Al
While still a nursing student at Chamberlain College of Nursing, Al facilitated the 4Me Teen Health Project during the Fall 2014 series. He shares the impact of working with youth in the community.

“One great thing about being a nurse is that it allows me to help my community through different ways. Working in a hospital is one, but being in the community is very rewarding, especially working with people that are excited to learn.
The most important aspect of what we do is education, and being a teen educator allowed me to educate teens in a critical moment in their lives. Empowering these teens with knowledge, and more importantly watching their self efficacy and esteem grow throughout the weeks has been a great joy and what I enjoy about being a nurse!”
