2019 March for Babies
April 27, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Nearly 4 million babies are born in the U.S. every year, and each one needs us.
Join more than 5,000 people at the Jacksonville walk in support of moms at every stage from preconception to post-delivery with research, programs and education – and it all comes together with a celebration at March for Babies on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
We walk to give EVERY baby a fighting chance. March of Dimes helps us fund some of our specific initiatives and we are glad to be community partners.
Go here to join our team NEFL Healthy Start Coalition! You can also join our team to make a donation if you cannot make the walk.
The march will be at the University of North Florida. For directions to campus and a campus map, please visit www.unf.edu. Once you are on-campus, follow the March for Babies signs and day-of parking volunteers who will direct you to the approved parking area (garage 38) near the arena and Student Union.
Registration opens at 8 am and the walk begins at 9 am at the Coxwell Amphitheater. The Kid Zone will open at 8 am and feature inflatable games, arts and crafts and annual Super Hero Sprint at 8:50 am. The walk is about three miles long through the heart of the UNF campus easily accessible for families and strollers. According to UNF‘s policies service animals are the only animals allowed on the walk route and event site.
March of Dimes will provide light snacks before and after the event courtesy of Whataburger, Dunkin’ Donuts and Snyder. Water will be available throughout the day and along the route.
We look forward to seeing you on walk day!
