Essentials for Childhood: Assuring Safe, Stable, Nurturing Relationships and Environments for All Children is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s framework for preventing child maltreatment before it starts.

This webinar will review CDC’s Essentials for Childhood initiative, share Essentials for Childhood resource materials and CDC’s work to disseminate them, and demonstrate through examples from several participating states how state health departments can use Essentials in their work to achieve collective impact for promoting safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments and preventing child maltreatment.
