Magnolia Project Director Faye Johnson presented Making an Impact: Healthy Start Convention 2015, a convention for federal Healthy Start program grantees. The convention focused on “Achieving Measurable Outcomes that Make a Difference for Women, Families, and Communities.”
Ms. Johnson presented on “The Reproductive Life Plan: From Concept to Practice” with Mary-K Moos, BSN, (FNP), MPH, FAAN Professor (retired) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant.
The session provided key strategies and processes for advancing reproductive life planning to impact unintended pregnancies and interpregnancy intervals as well as some of the unintended consequences that can result from these initiatives. Ms. Johnson shared experiences and lessons gained by the Magnolia Project implementing a reproductive life planning emphasis.
