Text4Baby is becoming more than just texts — in addition to receiving weekly tips, information and resources through messages, users will now have access to an app beginning November 10, 2014.
The app is intended to serve as a companion to the text messages, and will include interactive features about how your baby is growing each week, your progress and medical updates, appointment reminders, weekly checklists and quizzes. Find out more about the features here.
The app is available for download by searching for “Text4Baby” in the iTunes or Google Play app stores.
Launched in February 2010, Text4Baby texts weekly tips and helpful information on topics like labor and delivery, nutrition, safety and more. Women can text BABY to 511411 (or BEBE for updates in Spanish) to receive weekly information from Text4Baby based on their stage of pregnancy or age of their baby. They will be asked to enter the baby’s due date or birthday and their zip code. The service is completely free and an initiative of the National Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition.
