The American Society for Investigative Pathology and Project IMPACT are hosting a webinar on safe sleep, “A Bright Future for Babies: Partnering to Reduce Sudden Infant Death.”

The webinar will provide the following:
- Understand MCHB’s evolving approach for addressing sudden infant death
- Learn about evidence supporting a broadened approach to SUID/SIDS reduction
- Develop appreciation for contributions of unique stakeholders, including injury prevention and SIDS partners
- Explore innovative and successful partnerships to capitalize on these contributions
- Discuss metrics of success for impact in infant mortality due to SUID/SIDS
Speakers include Erin Reiney, MPH, CHES, the Director of Injury and Violence Prevention Programs under the EMSC and Injury Prevention Branch at HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB); and Lena Camperlengo, RN, MPH, DrPH, a Health Scientist at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Reproductive Health.
